Summer Creativity Challenge: Pauline
I finished the embroidery work for the Summer Challenge which I am putting on the sides of an ETUI Box. I have included a butterfly for the lid as what garden is without butterflies. I just have to do the lining pieces and assemble the box.Pauline

Summer Creativity Challenge: Pauline
I am posting pics of two of my Summer Challenge panels for the ETUI I will be making. Please don't be to harsh on critiquing my pansy, this is the first time I have tried the long and short stitches. The Iris is done with buttonhole stitch and the beards are made with the Turkey stitch. I will be posting the rest of the panels as I finish them.Pauline

Summer Creativity Challenge: Judith Ann
I used stranded thread for the rose except for the outer petals. For these I used a thicker thread which I found in my stash.
I started stitching from the inside of the rose to the outer petals. Some of the petals are long and short stitch and others just a long satin stitch. The stem and leaves are satin stitch which was worked after I had worked the veins using stem stitch.
